Sentencing arguments have been postponed in the murder trial of Quebec actor turned rapper Didier Buzizi.

Buzizi was found guilty Tuesday of second-degree murder, and faces at least ten years behind bars.

In August 2007, Buzizi got into an argument with 29-year-old Maxime Rushemaza over a bottle of liquor, and fatally stabbed the man.

Buzizi was born in Rwanda, and came to Quebec as a refugee to escape the genocide in the country.

As a child actor, he appeared on the show Fred-dy, which was based on restaurant owners who befriend young people. When the show ended in 2002, Buzizi began a career as a rapper, performing under the stage name Bilo Da Kid.

Sentencing arguments will be heard after the holidays.
