YES Rwanda to introduce entrepreneurship program

The Youth Employment Systems (YES) Rwanda, an organization aimed at linking employers to employees will next year introduce the Business Entrepreneurship Development (BED) program, an official at the organisation has said. “The mindset has to change in a way that the youths have to understand that it is also possible for them to start their private businesses, and this is what the new programme is going to address,” Jean de Dieu Kabengera told The New Times.

The Youth Employment Systems (YES) Rwanda, an organization aimed at linking employers to employees will next year introduce the Business Entrepreneurship Development (BED) program, an official at the organisation has said.

"The mindset has to change in a way that the youths have to understand that it is also possible for them to start their private businesses, and this is what the new programme is going to address,” Jean de Dieu Kabengera told The New Times.

He noted that despite the need for fresh graduates to get employment, it is equally important for them to become job creators by setting up their own businesses.

The program will include writing business plans in accordance with the available resources and drawing strategies of business expansion and accessibility.
