In relation to the previous losing streaks and trophy less seasons Arsenal has had, I still do not find a reason why the latter’s fans should ‘run’ to other clubs’ fan bases. Come on! Arsenal is a good club to support and I believe they usually run themselves out to the extreme in each and every match they play. Save for the fact that they play wonderful soccer with some slick tethering passes that wreck most defenses apart.

A good example is a match they played against Everton at the season start. It was a mouth-watering encounter and what could you imagine, a fine debut goal for their Belgian defender, Thomas Vermaelen.

He not only keeps the defense rock solid, but he also scores frequently. Absolutely one could see Gallas enjoys playing alongside him.

A question that lingers in my tantrum, Who knew Thomas before? Bought from Ajax Amsterdam where he was captain, Thomas knows that Arsenal is a title contending side and for sure he made no mistake in joining the team.

Wenger believes in him and though he can play the left-back position more preferably, the out-spoken tactician prefers him at centre half alongside Gallas. "he is strong, technically and has a good team winning attitude,” said Wenger after buying the defender.

Arsenal is well known for bringing youngsters into the limelight and usually their exodus starts at the end of yet another trophy less campaign.

It really hurts not to see some of the Arsenal stars that were shining in the previous seasons, but it is Wenger who usually has the last laugh.

Take Alexander Hleb for instance, he definitely is regretting why he left the club. A club that is always among the best four, major champions league contenders, where he could at least play twice in a week.

It is sad that he went to the Nou Camp where he could not get regular play and had to march away to Stuttgart. Now all he has to say is that he owes Wenger a lot.

Sincerely, I don’t see why there has to be an ‘exodus’ at the club since they are a young ambitious side ready to make dividends out of their previous hefty effort of becoming more mature and gaining a lot of experience.

Despite some of the losses this season that were quite inevitable, Arsenal youngsters now play soccer that even the feminine side feel. Most of the ladies support Arsenal if asked which team they support.

Impressively enough, their description of how they play is far different from how you can compare Arsenal’s style of play with a club like Chelsea.

Many say their style of play is sexy and when they lose its very hard for these ladies to come to terms with the loss.

But my word of encouragement would go as a saying that I quoted from Manchester United Fan, ‘its not how well you were copying notes with a good handwriting in class that people reckon, but the way you used to excel no matter how the handwriting.’

This brings me to the point that Arsene should think of living like a successful manager, like Man United’s Fergusson.

For him, even though the team loses a game, the blame is not put on him; instead it is put on the players who play unimpressively to lose a game.

Fergusson has the squad depth, the same with other big clubs like Liverpool, Chelsea and new money bags Manchester City.

All Wenger has to consider is not only making huge chunks of profits in selling his own home grown players but wooing them to stay by extending talks on their contracts and adding on their buys in the transfer window, as simple as that!

But Arsenal who now have fewer striking options, with Robin V.P out for quite a long time, have started showing their lack of intention to score when the ball is in the box. For sure, V.P is sorely being missed in each and every game, sad for Arsenal fans, isn’t it?
