NATIONAL rugby team captain Benjamin Makombe and center forward Juma Adams Mugabo are a major doubt for today’s Confederation of African rugby return leg tie against Burundi in Bujumbura.

Silverbacks won the first leg 12-6 but they face an uphill task today after Makombe and Mugabo failed to travel with the team yesterday due to work commitments.

But coach Gerald Nsenga still has a ray of hope that both players will make it in time for the clash (they are expected to travel today) but is more worried about Mugabo because he is the best center forward in the country.

"They will come tomorrow morning (today) but we have drafted in some new players in case those two don’t make it,” Nsenga said.
