HUYE – Sixty-three students sponsored by Imbuto Foundation on Thursday completed a 10- day basic training in computer skills. The training was organized by Unity Club- an organization comprised of people who held or are currently in leadership positions. The training was organized by Unity Club- an organization comprised of people who held or are currently in leadership positions.
Epimarque Twagirimana, from the Regional ICT Training and Research Centre (RITC), the training was meant to encourage wide use of Internet.
"This is very important for students especially those in secondary schools because it will help them discover knowledge on their own through the use of the Internet.
On the last day of the training, Huye district Mayor, Francois Uhagaze called upon participants to share the knowledge acquired with their colleagues back in their respective schools.
He urged them to constantly refresh their computer knowledge skills through taking full advantage of available computers in their respective schools.
