Jacob N. Mahina is the Vice Rector of Administration and Finance at Rwanda Tourism College University (RTUC). Busy he should be. Below he tells us how he winds up his weekend;
The weekend starts on Friday at 6p.m. I go straight home after work, to meet my wife and two children. I spend the evening chatting with my children as well exchanging ideas with my wife.
On Saturday, I wake up early to prepare for church. The church service goes up to 1p.m. On getting home, I rest for either an hour or two and after move around. I sometimes go to Nyabarongo River with my family or Shyorongi hills.
It’s here when I enjoy the beauty of my country as the children play around with butterflies and other small insects.
I use this time to share and hear from my wife. However, if I do not do that I visit a few friends or some visit me.
On Sunday, I have breakfast at around 9a.m.
I also take some time to watch different channels like the cartoon channels that interests my children.
After lunch, I train my children in computer lessons until evening.
I have supper at 8p.m and by 9 I am in bed.
That makes my weekend perfect
