The Rwanda National Olympic Committee (RNOC) has entered into an agreement with kit manufacturers, Puma, to dress the national team to next year’s Olympic Games in Beijing.
The RNOC Chef De Mission, Thierry Ntwali revealed last week that the deal was signed early this year and samples of the uniforms have been approved.
The German-based sport wear manufacturers have offered to dress the Rwandan contingent to next year’s Olympic Games in green, blue and yellow costumes.
"The deal has already been agreed, which would see Puma dress our national team like they id for the 2004 Games held in Athens,” said Ntwali.
Despite disclosing that Puma would dress the national team, the National Olympics body, could not give details in regards to the amount of money involved in their deal with the German kit maker.
The German kit maker will offer a full set of uniforms that includes shorts, briefs, warm-up jackets, pants and tights, Polo T-shirts, split shorts, singlet, casuals and official T-shirts.
PUMA, which is also the official kit sponsor of Rwanda’s 10.000m national champion, Dieudonne Disi has dressed local athletics team for the past three years.
