After a three-week break to allow the national team prepare and take in the just concluded Cecafa Senior Challenge Cup, attention now turns to the national football league.

The Challenge Cup ended up over the weekend in Nairobi, Kenya with Rwanda finishing second after a 2-0 loss to Uganda Cranes in the final.

The fifth day of the 2009/10 league action resumes this weekend as ten-time league champions APR take on struggling Mukura in Huye, Southern Province.

The military which is in contention for the league has now accumulated ten points in four matches played so far while their opponents, Mukura is yet to win any match.

Arch-rivals Atraco face a tricky test against newly promoted side, Musanze away to Ruhengeri. The taxi-men side leads the league standings with 12 points and is unbeaten in four matches played this season.

Six-time league champions Rayon Sport will host Etincelles at Nyamirambo stadium in one of the exhilarating match of the day. The blues and Etincelles are all level with APR on ten points.

The Kigali city sponsored club AS Kigali will play away to Amagaju in Nyamagabe. Both clubs are tied on four points. Both clubs have won once, drawn once and lost twice respectively.

Police will travel to Gisenyi to play against Marines in the game which will be held at Umuganda stadium.

Police has gained two points from four matches played this season while Marines is yet to win any match.

SC Kiyovu will play against Electrogaz on Sunday at Nyamirambo stadium.
