First of all, I suppose we all know the meaning of Christmas, but for those who might not be sure, it means the birth of Jesus Christ, the promised savior by God to his people who would be re-united with him through the sacrificial death of is beloved son, which was the reason for his birth.
First of all, I suppose we all know the meaning of Christmas, but for those who might not be sure, it means the birth of Jesus Christ, the promised savior by God to his people who would be re-united with him through the sacrificial death of is beloved son, which was the reason for his birth.
I believe we all would love to receive a Christmas gift, but I wonder if you’ve realized you are actually someone’s gift already, wrapped by God himself! And inside you carry love and compassion in their fullness.
Things you can give tirelessly, without loss and instead, lots of blessings to gain. In fact, things you are meant to share just as God did when he sent his son to be born on earth, to share his love, and die someday in compassion.
I’d like to remind you that while there are many joining their families, there are orphans among us whose only wish is ‘if I had my parents, then maybe Christmas would be complete’.
They know that sharing of love of people who truly care gives shape to this particular celebration and they crave it. We should know that they’re what they are because God has blessed them with a living gift, you! And not because they’ve been forgotten.
You have exactly what they need; simple love and compassion. You carry what they needed the most and didn’t get or probably lost.
You are the gift, which unfortunately they can’t open by themselves, but you have to open your heart to them and give them reason to smile this Christmas and always.
Now, its common for people to say they don’t have anything to give but I strongly disagree because; a word of encouragement and hope or even laughter are surely not nothing, and neither is a meal, or a ride to church if possible, or even just a hug!
And lots more! With this, you haven’t spent a great deal (which is one of our greatest worries), and yet you have made life worth living for them and besides, they aren’t asking for what you do not have, rather your generous heart! It means the world to them.
Let us remember that we are literally all that the orphans have got. Be it at Christmas time or every other day and you can start now.
Also, these are sweet people; in fact a treasure and we are no better! They have suffered loneliness, and they deserve a friend.
To the orphans out there; the word ‘orphan’ is simply a set of letters! Christmas is here for you, because Christ was born for you and since then, you ceased to be parentless for he is everything to all!
For Christmas and everyday, from me and all who believe like I do, we love you, merry Christmas and a marvelous new year!
I’d like to share a short poem with everyone else;
Christmas is back again
It comes but once a year
It’ll be gone soon
And what have you chosen to do?
