Cecafa disciplinary committee has given a stern warning to Amavubi Stars coach Eric Nshimiyimana, striker Yusuf Ndayishimiye for their actions during Rwanda’s semifinals clash with Tanzania.

Also warned were Tanzania’s coach Marcio Maximo and their team doctor Hamis Juma Suphian.

The quartet failed to control their emotions and almost went for each others’ throats during the hotly contested clash played Thursday evening.

While addressing a press conference yesterday morning at Nyayo national stadium, Cecafa Secretary General Nicolas Musonye said, "Tanzania’s coach and his Rwandan counterpart plus their number 14 (Ndayishimiye) as well as Tanzania’s team doctor have been given a last warning concerning their behaviors in the future.”

Ndayishimiye was warned for provoking the Tanzania bench after scoring Rwanda’s first goal and even after the second while Amavubi’s interim coach Nshimiyimana was warned for questioning some refereeing decisions.

Meanwhile, the match to determine the second runner up in the ongoing Orange Cecafa will now be played on Sunday.
Initially, the match had been scheduled for Friday at Nyayo Stadium.
