Karekezi and his colleagues will play a Ugandan select side this Friday at Nakivubo stadium.
The team’s entourage also has Patrick Mboma, Francois Omam Biyick, his brother Andre Kana Biyick, Cyril Makanaky, Pius Ndiefi and Emmanuel Maboang Kessack.
Mboma’s team is coming under the Association of Cameroonian Sportsmen.
The West Africans will be joined by East Africa’s former greats Edibily Lunyamila, Suleiman Madaraka (Tanzania), Kenyan duo of Tony Lwanga and Henry Mutego and Rwanda’s own ‘Karekezi’.
While in Uganda, the stars will get involved in different activities. The visit comes five months after a group of former Brazilian soccer stars visited Uganda on a similar tour of East and South Africa.
The three-day tour was organised by former Miracle Centre and SC Villa right full back, Dan Ntale who is also the director of Kampala School of Excellence, a youth academy.
