THE Corporate league organizing committee has come up with shrewd measures for teams who continue postponing their matches.
According to the committee’s permanent secretary Fabien Gatsinzi, teams who give away walk-overs will be fined.
"The league is behind scheduled because of so many games that have had to be re-scheduled. But starting this week, teams that don’t show up will lose the points and also get fined,” said Gatsinzi.
Football defending champions Ministry of Defence (MoD) look set to defend their title. The military side that bagged default points against Electrogaz last week has 21 points, one above Bank of Kigali (BK).
MoD also remains unbeaten in basketball after winning all their nine games.
In Volleyball, Rwanda Revenue Authority (RRA) leads with 15 points, three clear of MoD.
