Students, who spoke to the The New Times, yesterday said they were ready to drive the country’s development agenda.
"I will carry a message of hard work, team work and taking correct decisions even if they contradict our parents,’’ Patience Umulisa, one of the students said.
Briefing over 450 students at LYCEE APICUR, on the role of police in crime prevention and security, Supt. J Claude Kajeguhakwa noted that students need to behave responsibly and avoid drug abuse.
Niyonsenga Jackson, who completed senior six in construction said that Itorero has helped students realize that their future lies in their hands instead of relying solely on the government.
