KAYONZA – A-30-year old man in Mukarange sector in Kayonza district has been detained at Mukarange Police Station for allegedly raping a neighbour’s wife.

Leonard Ngiriwonsanga, is alleged to have committed the crime on Monday morning, when the victim’s husband had gone to work.

The Sector’s Executive Secretary, Grace Mukandoli, confirmed the incident, describing it as horrendous.

Felecie Munyentwari, a resident, added that the suspect had previously committed similar offences.

"Such men do not only damage one’s personality but could also spread HIV to innocent women and girls. He is a monster who has been eluding arrest,” the vividly angry woman said.
