I congratulate the people of Rwanda on being on been admitted into the Commonwealth group of Nations. I am an Australian who has been to Rwanda twice; the first time in 2006 for only two weeks and then in 2007 I lived there for six months with my family.

Both times I was working for Hope Rwanda. My wife and I now have lots of Rwandan friends that live in Rwanda and Australia.

Now that you are a part of a close group of courtiers you will receive more support and help with your country’s growth. I know Australia will play a big part in that growth.
