In the last quarter 2009, Sgt. Robert Kabera released ‘Impanda’, the gospel reggae song that captured massive attention on almost, if not all local radio stations.

However, most fans of the Army Jazz Band were worried that Sgt. Robert had quit the band.

But no, he is still a member of the band, only that these days he goes more solo—and has embarked on both composing secular and gospel music to be able to satisfy all his fans. 

However, some critics suggest that the 30-year-old is trying to expand his fan base, especially now that gospel artistes seem to be reaping more from their work.

The 2008 Salax Awards nominee, Sgt. Robert is busy preparing for the launch of his first solo album ‘Impanda’ to be launched in December.
