BURERA – The Minister of Education, Dr. Charles Murigande, has challenged students finishing political and civic education course (Ingando) to become agents of change in society.

He was last weekend speaking during the pass out of over 800 senior six leavers who are yet to join public and private institutions of higher learning.

The students had completed a 3-week training at the Peace and Leadership Centre, Nkumba in Burera district.

Murigande observed there is need for discipline and integrity among students if they are to attain their vision.

Dr. Jean Baptiste Habyarimana, president of the National Unity and Reconciliation Commission, urged students to build a strong team ready to forge positive change within society.

Through their representative, the enthusiastic students pledged to fight any forms of divisions and genocide ideology among the youth.
