Equity Market

Yesterday no transactions were recorded on the Rwanda OTC market. The KCB shares remained at Rwf160.  
At the end of the session on Friday, 9,415 shares were on offer and no buyers.

Friday on the Nairobi Stock Exchange (NSE), a total of 145,200 shares were traded.  KCB shares traded within the range of Ksh21.25 (Rwf153) high and Ksh19.80 (Rwf152) low and closed at Ksh20.25 (Rwf155). The NSE All share index went up +0.90 points to close at 69.76.

Dar-es-Salaam Stock Exchange and Uganda Securities Exchange did not trade KCB shares.

The Bond Market

On the bond market no transactions were recorded.  At the close of the business, Rwf 2 billion worth of Government bonds were on offer (sellers) at Rwf99.8 and there were two bids (buyers) of Rwf 2 billion and Rwf 5 million for the same bonds at 94.00 and 97.80, respectively.

There were also BCR bank bonds worth Rwf 150 million on offer at Rwf 100.50.
