‘Kinyarwanda, a story by Eng. Ishmael Ntihabose, focuses on how the Rwandan Moslem community conducted themselves during the 1994 Rwanda Genocide against the Tutsi.
Ntihabose is the executive producer, Alrick Brown directed, and produced by Darren Dean
In a brief interview with The New Times, Ntihabose said Kinyarwanda film started shooting in November 14, and will conclude December 7.
"We have a huge staring crew; 36 students from the local film industry, and 14 foreign professional film makers. I’m very sure the film will be great,” Ntihabose said.
Miss Cassie Freeman of Spike Lee’s "Inside Man” is starring as Lt. Rose Kabuye in the film, whilst Danny Vecchione is the cinematographer.
Rwanda Cinema Centre’s Jolie Murenzi (Art Director), and Pierre Kayitana (Director of Rwanda Cinema Centre), are also part of the crew.
