Speaking to journalists, the Mayor of Kigali City, Dr. Aisha Kirabo Kakira, revealed that the two institutions made a bid to take up the re-development of the taxi park which is currently in a very sorry state.

Speaking to journalists, the Mayor of Kigali City, Dr. Aisha Kirabo Kakira, revealed that the two institutions made a bid to take up the re-development of the taxi park which is currently in a very sorry state.
"ADC and SORAS are still preparing details of their business plan. They should deliver it in less than a month from now” said the Mayor.
She added that once the study is complete, the mayor said it would include the construction of an underground taxi park and a shopping mall.
Kirabo clarified that the bus terminal will not be relocating to any other place as had earlier been reported.
