RWAMAGANA – The Eastern Province governor, Dr. Ephraim Kabaija has criticized local leaders for the slow progress on classroom construction in Rwamagana, Ngoma and Kirehe districts.
"Look at Rwamagana, nothing is promising, yet the Mayor and his deputies seem to be relaxed,” he said.
The tough talking governor was speaking at a provincial security meeting held in Rwamagana district.
‘We need action rather than mere talk,’ he said.
The local leaders were reminded that they had only up to the end of this month to finish construction.
"If you don’t finish by the end of this month, tender resignation and allow others to take over.” Kabaija said.
