The Uganda football governing body, Fufa has excluded Cranes’ Rwanda based professionals from the team that will feature at the Cecafa Challenge Cup in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania from December 8-22.

The Uganda football governing body, Fufa has excluded Cranes’ Rwanda based professionals from the team that will feature at the Cecafa Challenge Cup in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania from December 8-22.

The Fufa Media Committee boss Rogers Mulindwa told Uganda’s Daily Monitor that the technical team made a couple of changes to the squad which was released earlier giving chance to Cranes’ splayers.

Mulindwa also said that some players were dropped due to poor form while others have not been actively involved in the league.

The same fact might have been attributed to Rwandan based players whose league got underway on Wednesday, this week.

Players who feature in Rwanda that have been excluded in the team are: Alimansi Kadogo (Atraco), Tom Ssemwogere (Atraco), Joseph Kabagambe (Atraco), Shaka Okello(Rayon Sport), Francis Kimolo (Kiyovu), Meddie Kagere (Kiyovu), Charles Kawuma (Atraco), Peter Kagabo (Atraco), Michael Sebalinga (Atraco), Abbas Kiwalabye (Police), Shapi Aldriga (Police), Abdul Buruhani (Police), Henry Mukwaya (Police), Ibrahim Kongo (Kibuye),George Bogere (Kibuye),Frank Gayi (Kibuye), Nelly Mayanja (AS Kigali), and Allan Kabonge (AS Kigali).
