The Ministry of Education has disbursed Frw41million in a three-week Sports workshop which has attracted over 1800 students from all corners of the country.

  The workshop, the first of its kind, started on November 8 wound up yesterday with a colorful closing ceremony that included competitions in four sporting disciplines; football, volleyball, basketball and handball.

Each province has been represented by 90 participants who are competing in two categories; male and female.

The players were selected during the interschool competitions. Each of the country’s four Province as well as Kigali City was given approximately Frw 4,120,000 to cater for meals, accommodation and refreshments during the workshop.
