The computers totaling 100 and the school cost $ 180,000. The computers will be distributed to the five schools, each taking 20.
Rwanda became the 5th country to benefit from the Sudanese leader’s programme.
"It’s really a big opportunity for us to have these computers, as you see they are of good quality and our students will develop in ICT,” Emmanuel Bizimana, the head teacher of Groupe Scolaire de Remera in Kamonyi district said.
Speaking to journalists yesterday, Haitham Babihir Yousif, the project manager of ‘Albashier 01’ said that the donation will also improve further bilateral relations between Rwanda and Sudan.
"The donation is also a way of expressing our country’s appreciation towards Rwanda’s contribution to the restoration of peace in Darfur,” the project manager said.
