Residents noted that the trees planted will boost the provision of animal feeds while also protecting the environment.
The reforested area has been endangered by illegal tree cutting activities. District officials have of recent taken serious measures to check on the menace.
Claude Sebashi, the development coordinator, urged residents to use the week to evaluate the achievements and forge a way forward in implementing rural development.
