KICUKIRO and Gasabo were over the weekend crowned champions of the 2009 Good Governance basketball tournament. Kicukiro cruised to the title after edging Nyarugenge 41-39 in the men’s category while Gasabo reigned supreme in the ladies’ fray.

League winners in both categories (men and women) were awarded a trophy and Rwf 150,000 while the second and third teams pocketed Rwf 100,000 and Rwf 80,000 respectively.
