MUHANGA - A woman died instantly after being struck by lightening during the heavy rains on the evening of November 13, in Mushishiro sector, officials confirmed. 

Sources said that Jeanne Mukakibibi died instantly after lightening struck her while she was busy working on her farmland in Matyazo cell.  

Two other women also sustained serious injuries during the same incident. The victims are currently being treated at Bulinga health center.
