THE National rugby team-the silverbacks are scheduled to start training this afternoon at Rugunga ahead of the upcoming Nakuru 7s.
The regional tournament is scheduled to run from November 28 to 29.
After losing the finals of the Bowl category in Uganda’s Hima-Mak 10s, the team wants to go a notch better in Kenya.
Silverbacks head Coach Gerald Nsenga is backing the team to do the job in Kenya. Last year, Rwanda’s league champions Buffaloes stunned regional teams after reaching the semi-finals of the Plate Cup.
The Nakuru 7s tournament is set to attract over 16 teams from Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
