RWANDAN FASHION MODEL Justin Shema is organising an exhibition to showcase tradition attire 'Umushanana' through photographs, catwalk and a short film called "The gods of women".

The aim of this exhibition is to celebrate Rwanda's culture and introduce the 'Umushanana' to foreigners and locals as well as introduce unknown places to visit in Rwanda and inspire the youth through their art.

The cultural exhibition will take place on November 24, at Goethe-Institut Kigali in Kiyovu from 5pm.Entrance is free.

"We want to show the beauty of Umushanana and be known to many who can as well rock the beautiful Rwandan attire. We took many pictures from different places of the country to show them to people because fashion and tourism go so much together, "Shema said.

"We call upon everyone to tell a friend to join us as we celebrate our culture through fashion, art and give recognition to women who usually wear Umushanana," he added.

Shema became a model in 2016 and has since been part of big fashions shows, all cultural fashion shows in Rwanda and was among the models who recently participated in Rwanda Fashion Connect 2022 held in Dubai.
