Salum Girinshuti a subscriber with MTN Rwandacel is proud winner of MTN’s ‘Win a trip to Ghana’ campaign .

Ngirinshuti, a mechanic at KLSS garage based in Kinamba, emerged the winner in a draw conducted by MTN’s Head Advertising and Brand Manager, John Malidad and the leading sport journalists in the country at the company head quarters in Nyarutarama on Monday.

After his number was announced as the winner, the excited mechanic told Times Sport that he is delighted to be the lucky winner is very much looking forward to being one of what he believes would very few Rwandans at the month-long tournament, which starts January 20 to February 10.

He said, "I never knew that I would be the lucky winner but keeping in mind that if I sent as many text messages would increase my chances, gave me the courage,” Girinshuti said, hailing MTN’s services of promoting football on the both on the local and continental scene.

MTN will provide the 33-year old with a return air ticket to Ghana, accommodation, facilitation and will watch the opening game or the final game from the VIP seats in one of the hosting stadium.

Apart from watching the African Cup of Nations, Girinshuti will spend four days touring the West African country.
The participants were required to write the word ‘foot’ and sending the text message to 6863668.

The competition was initiated by MTN at the start of last month.
