JEAN Marie Ntagwabira had no kind words for his flops after Saturday’s 0-3 loss against reigning champions APR.
The Kiyovu coach questioned his players’ temperament and ambition after what he described as a wretched outing.

"With these kind of performances, I may have to revisit my decision of joining the club. Technically, anything can happen because I have not yet signed a contract,” he warned.

"If our ambition is to break into the top three and probably challenge the likes of APR and Atraco for the title, then we have to double our efforts on the pitch,” the former APR and Atraco tactician added.

"We started well and could have made the most of it but we blew it away. We can’t allow this to happen.”
Ntagwabira is now set to have talks with the club management to see how best they can move on.

Defender Bonaventure Hategekimana was at fault for APR’s first two goals (Abbas Rassou and Omar Hitimana) while Kiyovu’s custodian could do little about Haruna Niyonzima’s clinical free-kick.

In the first half, Kiyovu had a great opportunity to dictate terms after being awarded a penalty. However, APR’s new signing Jean Luc Ndayishimiye ‘Bakame’ produced a brilliant save to deny Faudi Ndayisenga from the spot kick.

Saturday’s result means that Kiyovu has managed three points out of a possible nine.
