KABALE - 15 Rwandans, were last Saturday awarded degrees and diplomas in various fields at Kabale University in Uganda, during the university’s fourth graduation ceremony, since its inception in 2002. The Rwandans, six of them females, are among the 316 students who completed their studies at the university, which is based in South Western Uganda.

The chancellor, Justice George William Kanyeihamba awarded Masters, degrees, diplomas and certificates.
He appealed to the graduates to remain focused and bring positive changes in their respective countries.
The vice-chancellor, Prof. Joy C. Kwesiga honoured the Rwandan community at the University for being disciplined and praised them for their cooperation to bring their fellow Rwandans to study at the institution.
She singled out Jean Damascene Beshobeza and Mark Ramba for voluntarily taking up the task of recruiting other Rwandans and organizing the campus’s tour to Rwanda.
Beshobeza graduated with a bachelor of Public Administration and Management while Ramba is still pursuing his bachelor in Development Studies.
