The match day 10 fixtures of Rwanda Premier League produced mixed results that shocked some teams while others finished the weekend in celebrations.

Marines FC ended their poor start to the season as the thrashed city rivals Etincelles 3-0 during Sunday’s derby at Umuganda Stadium in Rubavu while Francis Haringingo’s Rayon struggled again at the hands of Mukura.

Times Sport brings you a complete wrap of the week 10 games:

Struggling Marines FC recorded their first victory this season with a convincing 3-0 victory over arch rivals Etincelles to win the Rubavu derby held Sunday, November 20, at Umuganda Stadium.

Arthur Gitego opened the scoring in the 27th minute to give Yves Rwasamanzi’s side the lead before Aminu Nahimana made it 2-0 with four minutes to the first half.

Gitego then scored his second goal of the game, and the third for Marines, in the 52nd minute to put more of the hapless Etincelles.

Gorilla FC also beat Bugesera FC 2-0 at the Kigali Stadium. Mohammed Camara scored the opener in the 48th minute before Johnson Adeaga doubled the lead in the 59th minute to ensure that his side comfortably took home all three points of the game.

Elsewhere, Mukura VS on Sunday put up a solid performance against Rayon Sports as the visitors held Haringingo's men to a 2-2 draw in Kigali.

Moussa Camara scored for the Blues in the 26th minute after which Robert Mukoghotya netted a brace to shoot his side ahead. Leandre Onana saved the day for the Blues when he netted a 79th minute equalizer through the spot kick to draw the scores level.

Elsewhere, Musanze FC’s winless streak continued as they failed to beat Rutsiro FC who held them to a 1-1 draw on Friday. Ghanaian striker Peter Agblevor gave Musanze the lead in the sixth minute but Rutsiro fought back and cancelled the scores with a late equalizer in the 86th minute through Ashraf Umar.

In Rusizi, Omar Moussa's lone goal in the seventh-minute secured three maximum points for Police as Vincent Mashami’s men beat stubborn Espoir 1-0 in Rusizi.
