AS Kigali vs Rwamagana
AS Kigali FC head coach Andre Cassa Mbungo is confident his side is ready for Rwamagana City test when both sides go head to head on Monday, November 21, at Kigali Stadium.
Mbungo, who joined AS Kigali before the end of the 2021-22 season, will be out for not less than a win after dropping two valuable points against Bugesera FC.
"We want to win this game and we are read give everything. We were disappointed with our last result [against Bugesera FC] so we need a positive result against Rwamagama so that we can remain the title race,” he said.
Mbungo’s men will play a Rwamagana side that is currently coached by former Amavubi assistant coach Emmanuel Ruremesha.
Ruremesha, who is regarded among the best home grown coaches in the country, knows how much threat AS Kigali can pose to his men but he warned Mbungo’s side to expect the same when the two side face off.
"AS Kigali are a very tough team especially when playing on their home ground. But I am confident we can beat anyone. We are coming to Kigali for a win and three points. We are going to do everything possible to win,” the veteran coach said.
Rwamagana are 13th on the Rwanda Premier League table with seven points while AS Kigali sit fourth with 14 points with two games in hand.
