Seventy Rwandan students currently pursuing higher education at Kampala International University (KIU) in Uganda are in the country on a five-day visit. A statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the students will be briefed on the preparations of the forthcoming 2010 presidential elections.
Seventy Rwandan students currently pursuing higher education at Kampala International University (KIU) in Uganda are in the country on a five-day visit.
A statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the students will be briefed on the preparations of the forthcoming 2010 presidential elections.
They will also familiarize themselves with the operations of the Gacaca courts and will visit the Kigali Memorial Site, Gisozi.
During the tour, they will be lectured on the history of Rwanda and the operations of the traditional courts.
Other ministries to be visited by the students include; Education, Youth, and Defence.
Other government organs to be visited include, National Unity and Reconciliation Commission, National Executive Committee (NEC) and Rwanda Development Board (RDB).
