Equity Market

Today the ROTC market recorded a turnover of Rwf 76,500 from 500 KCB shares traded in one transaction at the price of Rwf 153. The KCB share price remained at Rwf 153. At the end of the session, 10,415 shares were on offer and no buyers.

Monday on the Nairobi Stock Exchange (NSE), a total of 132,800 shares were traded.  KCB shares traded within the range of 20.00 Kshs (Rwf152) high and 19.90 Kshs (151Rfw) low and closed at 19.90 Kshs (151Rfw).

The NSE All share index went up +0.16 points to close at 67.25.

DSE (Dares Salaam Stock Exchange and USE (Uganda Securities Exchange) did not trade KCB shares.

The Bond Market:

On the bond market no transactions were recorded.  At the close of the business, Rwf 2 billion worth of Government bonds were on offer (sellers) at Rwf 99.8 and there were two bids (buyers) of Rwf 2 billion and Rwf 5 million for the same bonds at 94.00 and 97.80, respectively.

There were also BCR bank bonds worth Rwf 150 million on offer at Rwf 100.50.
