Kiyovu v APR
CHAMPIONS APR have been hit by shocking news that right back Jean Bosco Uwacu will be out for three weeks after suffering a nasty knee injury during Saturday’s 2-0 league victory over Marines.
The defender limped off mid-way through the second half and scan results now indicate that he will sidelined for the next three weeks which means that he will miss APR’s much anticipated clash with Kiyovu this Saturday.
APR coach Erik Paske is however not shaken by the injury and insists that he has good cover for the Kiyovu tie after Elias Ntaganda’s return to full fitness.
"I would have liked him (Uwacu) to be on the field on Saturday but he has been ruled out. Ntaganda should now fill in and returning to full fitness,” Paske said.
Meanwhile, winger Albert Ngabo is also a major doubt for Saturday after suffering a knock in the same match.
The Amavubi player was initially feared to be out for a long spell but club doctors told Times Sport that the player has a 70% chance of playing on Saturday.
