Rwandair, the National carrier in its continued bid to improve better services has introduced a dream miles program were its clients can earn free tickets on any of its routes.
According to the carrier’s officials, for any roundtrip members can earn free tickets and they are eligible only to those that were issued from January 1, 2009.
"For every five roundtrip with in the region or for every 10 roundtrip domestic Rwandair flights, the carrier can offer one free ticket to any Rwandair destination. the free tickets are transferable to anyone of the bearer’s person of choice,” officials explained.
The offer comes days after the carrier slashed 50 percent of the usual fees on the Entebbe- Kigali route.
The carrier began operations on December 1, 2002 as the new national carrier with a concession to carry out airport ground handling at Kigali International Airport, Kanombe.
Stakeholders meet for ICT forum
All stakeholders in the sector of ICT are today set to hold a Joint Sector Review (JSR) forum which will take an in depth analysis of challenges as well as progress made during 2008/2009.
According to a statement from the Ministry in charge of Information and Communication Technology in the Office of the President, the forum which take place today at Hotel Mille Collines, will review challenges and progress to arrive at a policy recommendations for 2009/2010.
The statement also stated that the outcomes of the forum will be submitted to the Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning for integration into the National Economic Development and Poverty Reduction Strategy (EDPRS) annual report preparation to be discussed between the government and donor partners.
