His resignation comes a few days after he became the centre of criticism when the public accused him of indecency referring to one of the photos of himself that he posted on his social media platforms earlier this week.
"I have officially resigned from my role of being a men’s and women’s wear designer at Moshions, I have learnt so much from this, and have shaped me to be the best version of myself. Looking forward to supporting the brand on future creative ventures,” Turahirwa posted on his Twitter account on Friday.
Turahirwa was at the helm of Moshions since the fashion house was founded in 2015. Before then, he had been a model for about half a decade.
It’s under the designer that Moshions established itself as one of Rwanda’s best fashion brands with customized clothing creations that attracted high demand from the international market. It also became home to a number of celebrities who passby the fashion house to purchase clothes there during their stay in the country for various reasons.
