Alpha Rwirangira’s triumph in the Tusker Project Fame music talent, search continues to offer good biddings for his future as leading medical insurer, Resolution Health East Africa, awarded him medical cover worth Rwf 70 million, as part of his winner’s package.

The Premium Plus medical package for the winner also has an outpatient cover worth Rwf 7 million, besides a dental and optical cover.

According to the Managing Director of Resolution Health East Africa, Peter Nduati, Alpha will access these services despite the insurer having no local service provider.

"We currently do not have any appointed Medical Service Providers in Rwanda but we are in the process of doing this. As a special concession for Alpha and to ensure he receives his prize benefits of the medical insurance and access that would be convenient for him, we shall allow him to access the services to our current network as well as the King Faisal Hospital in Kigali.

" Resolution Health has a strong network of hospitals, clinics and doctors with over 250 medical service providers located in Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda and Southern Sudan whom members access health services. We then settle the bills directly with the health providers,” Nduati  is quoted as saying in a statement released Friday.

He also reaffirmed the commitment of his company to partner with Tusker Project Fame beyond the first three years of East Africa’s most popular music realty television show.

Alpha yesterday graced a ‘meet and greet’ event at Nakumatt City Centre where he signed autographs for his fans.

East African Breweries, who own the Tusker Brand invested over Kshs200 million in this year’s music competition which is aimed at seeking and developing music talent in the region.
