A group of ten renowned Australian National Rugby League club players will on Monday jet into the country for charity work with Hope Rwanda to help Genocide survivors.
This was revealed by Joel Sengoga, the director of Hope Rwanda.

The players are from an Australian team called Parramatta.
"One of the super clubs with their coach will be coming here from Australia on Monday for charity work and raise funds for Genocide survivors,” he said.

Sengoga said that Mark Zcheck, co-founder of Hope Rwanda, is already in the country to welcome the team.
Hope Rwanda, an initiative of Rwandan churches, started in 2004 but was officially launched in 2006 to help genocide survivors.

Sengoga disclosed that the team will raise funds for the current organisation’s project to construct accommodation for Genocide survivors in Gasabo district.

"They will be here to support the "Village of Hope Rwanda” in Gasabo District, by collaborating with the locals to put up homes for Genocide survivors.”

One of the team players, Justin Poore, a recent signing to the team, has a charity organisation in Australia known as Poore Rwanda.

Last year, on his first visit to Rwanda, with his charity organisation, Poore helped raise $33,000 that was used to build houses for Genocide survivors
