Rwanda’s pop singer Sparks, from the pop group  Family Squad is set to marry his long-term fiancée.

Sparks, a.k.a Muselem Muhire, says that they have been dating since 1997, and its now time to think about marriage.

"We’re getting married. I’m delighted and so is he,” said Rehema, 30. 

Meanwhile, the wedding was initially scheduled to take place early this year but it was later postponed because Sparks was busy working on their new songs with the group.

Nazil, a young brother to the groom, says: "Sparks never goes out with other ladies, at least as far as I know.”
The couple will walk down the aisle, in December 2009, but the date is not yet confirmed.
