This was revealed by Antoine Manzi Director of Entrepreneurship of the Private Sector Federation (PSF)
"On 30th of this month we will be launching the TVET program,” he said.
The TVET program aims at upgrading the skills of vocational students into viable businesses.
Manzi said that the program will implement three components which he mentioned as Business Plan Competition (BPC), internship and advocacy.
He explained that, "BPC targets to turn skills into businesses, internship will take graduates and put them in industries for six months and add to their theoretical knowledge and advocacy can create a platform to advocate for these people both local and international level.”
Recently, a grant of Euros 4.2 million was given to PSF by the Netherlands to run the program for four years.
