In their continuous campaign to deliver better services delivery to its clients, MTN Rwanda yesterday unveiled a new Customer Service Centre (CSC) in Rubangura house, Kigali City centre.

"We will not stop today; we are in a process of constructing more service centres of the same capacity before the end of this year. One facility will be built in Giporoso and the other in Nyabungongo, This will make the CSCs  to five in total.”

"These new centres will reduce on the traffic that was cause by our clients at the old two centres of Nyarutarama and UTC, who were doing SIM swaps and inquiries,” Mikkawi explained.

The CEO also said that the telecom company will not only build these service centres in town but plans to build three centres up-country by the beginning of next year, were underway.

Also at the unveiling ceremony was the Mayor of Kigali City, Aisha K. Kacyira. She said that the new CSC is a beautiful facility, well positioned and will help in the 24 hour operation which is the   City’s vision.

The largest telecom company by market share is set to roll out a Mobile Money product.

This was confirmed by the company’s Senior Marketing Executive, Yvonne Makolo.

She said that the company is working on the project and the service will be rolled out in due course.

The service is meant to extend affordable, accessible and user friendly money transfer services to billions of un-banked people around the world.
