The long waited American gospel singer, Ron Kenoly, recently thrilled thousands of Christians at Zion Temple, in Kicukiro district. Kenoly, who first held a concert at Kigali Serena hotel, acknowledged Rwanda’s astonishing recovery from the 1994 Rwanda’s Genocide against the Tutsi.

Kenoly, who first held a concert at Kigali Serena hotel, acknowledged Rwanda’s astonishing recovery from the 1994 Rwanda’s Genocide against the Tutsi.
"I felt sorry for what happened during the 1994 Genocide,” Kenoly said, "It was really unbelievable, but God loves Rwanda and He’s doing tremendous work through the government in establishing unity and reconciliation.”
The 65-year-old, performed several songs, including ‘Lift Him Up’, backed up by Asaph choir.
Paul Gitwaza, the Senior Pastor of Zion Temple refered to his presence as history to Rwanda.
"We are so privileged to have the mighty servant of God in Rwanda; this day will always be remembered,” Gitwaza said.
Kenoly is an American Christian worship leader, singer and a song writer, whose expressed mission is "To create an environment for the manifest presence of God”.
His musical style is one of jubilant praise and individual excellence on musical instruments.
In 1987, Kenoly was ordained and installed as Music Pastor.
