Nzeyimana for Challenge Cup

Rwanda’s assistant referee, Jean Nzeyimana has been short listed among the 14-referees who will officiate at the Cecafa Senior Challenge Cup to be held from December 8-22 in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.

Rwanda’s assistant referee, Jean Nzeyimana has been short listed among the 14-referees who will officiate at the Cecafa Senior Challenge Cup to be held from December 8-22 in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.

Nzeyimana will be among the seven assistant referees who would with the seven centre referees for the two-week long tournament.

Other assistant referees named include: Charles Nimpagaritse (Burundi), Begashaw Luleseged (Ethiopia), Silvester Likhotia (Kenya), Abdi Soud (Tanzania), Hussein Bugembe (Uganda) and Ali Kombo (Zanzibar).

The centre referees include: Alfred Ndinya (Kenya), Ali Farah Mohamed (Djibouti), Hassan Adulkadir (Somalia), Khalid Abdel Rahman (Sudan), Victor Mwandike (Tanzania), Ali Kalyango (Uganda) and Emmanuel Eyob (Eritrea).

This year’s regional Challenge will start on December 8th with Tanzania facing Kenya in the opener.

Rwanda which has been pooled together with Uganda in group B is expected to face Eritrea three days after. The other country in the group is Djibouti.
