Editor,
Just like the fun loving person, I have gone to a few hangouts, clubs and bars in our lovely city of Kigali and to be sincerely honest I have always had a great time except in Planet Club.
I don’t know who gave the proprietor the idea of hiring thugs as bouncers. This country is investing a lot of effort in customer care but it is absurd to find that this night club hires bouncers who treat people with contempt and anger.
These guys stamp you with their watery ink which disappears with, in a few minutes of dancing so that, by the time you get out to refresh a little, the stamp has worn off.
When you attempt to re-enter, they say that you have not paid and push you away.
So you end up humiliated and two thousand francs lighter. On three occasions I have paid twice and other friends of mine have also endured the same fate.
The idea of hiring a person because they look mean while not having any customer handling skills is completely outdated.
Truly, those guys will only chase people away; we understand the role of bouncers but those low lifes are not even aware of what an ideal bouncer should do.
