Senegal national team head coach Aliou Cisse insists his team is well equipped for the Group A game with the Netherlands at the Al Thumama Stadium in Doha on Monday, November 21.
Cisse admits the Dutch are a great side who are among the title contenders but that does not put fear in his charges ahead of the second Group A game.
"Netherlands are not here to make up the numbers. They are a great team who, today, are capable of going to the final of this competition," Cisse stated ahead of the clash on Monday, November 21.
"But as I also say, we are Senegal. We also have arguments to make. It is up to us to concentrate and try to give the best reply against this Dutch team. ”
Senegal have participated in the World Cup twice, with their best results being in 2002 when they reached the quarter finals.
They are in Group A, in the 2022 World Cup, alongside hosts, Qatar, Netherlands and Ecuador.
