Disputes over a plot of land became bloody yesterday when a man grew angry and violent and hacked the upper limbs of his neighbour.
Habarurma Akimana cut off a hard of J Damascene Ndizihiwe, 28 and the injured both arms who was left unconscious and presumed dead. He is currently under care at Ruhengeri Hospital.
The dispute over a 20 metre plot of land was said to have been settled by community reconcilers, but Habarurema was said not to have been convinced.
He is currently detained at Musanze police station and will be produced to court to answer charges of attempted murder.
Both residents of Nyange cell, Kinigi sector in Musanze.
