26-year-old Bonane Jean Baptiste, a.k.a DJ Happy is among the country’s most talented DJs.

Growing up in the southern province, Huye district, he always wanted to become a disc jockey. Music is another passion which DJ Happy has pursued since when he was in primary school.

Through music, DJ Happy has managed to become one of the most recognisable faces on Rwanda’s entertainment scene- having played in famous nightspots and parties, including Melo Twist nightclub in Butare. 

DJ Happy has won some impressive compliments from his fans and the music-lovers. This young artist sees himself as a simple guy that loves music and of course his education.

DJ Happy says that his favourite Rwandan artists are Riderman an Miss JoJo.
